Actually, the population of feral pigs is exploding. Hunt the wily boar. My son's father in law hunts chingale (wild pigs) in Sardinia. They make the most awesome tasting things out of them, including chingale piede gelatino which is ears and hooves reduced to a gelatin which is then spiced and flavored for carnivale and only served once a year.
