"Nothing I have seen -- including the two documents to which former Vice President Cheney has repeatedly referred -- indicates that the torture techniques . . . were necessary," said Mr. Feingold, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee who has access to classified documents. "The former vice president is misleading the American people when he says otherwise."

We know. This is what Obama said, too. But there is a disagreement, and having one more liberal come out and disagree is meaningless.

Let's see the documents.

Obama is supposed to be all about transparency. Let's have some transparency.

We know that lying is second nature to almost all liberals. Whether you're Clinton lying about seducing a young girl, or Obama lying about his position on abortion or ending the wars, you're all pretty much liars (I hedge that because I believe there are a few great liberals, like Chris Hitchens and Patrick Moynihan, who are not liars but are simply wrong about some things). But largely, liberals are liars.

So let's see the documents and allow the public to make the call.
