Critics Assail Fidel Castro's 'Sickening' Grip on Hollywood Celebs Do you really think Castro is a lightweight? The man has managed to keep the lid on Cuba for a long, long time without resorting to the kind of violent dictatorship that Saddam had. I am sure he's an interesting person to meet. I would feel the same way meeting Putin even as I find him repugnant and wish that Russia would get rid of him. Because I meet with either Castro or Putin, doesn't make me a supporter. When you are not ruled by your ideology, everything is not quite so black and white.
