I doubt that you did. But if so, there is no one on SI who would not be aware of it, unless they joined yesterday. :}

As for property being non-transgenerational I know a few monarchist who would strongly disagree. Of course, times change and maybe going forward it will be different. The argument is moot for me as I believe leaving offspring lots of money or assets kills their spirit.

Therefore, we agree that what is important is the return of real estate over the holding period. It is also interesting that this man is becoming a buyer of US RE.
