April Housing Starts of just 458,00 were well short of the 520K consensus. Prior revised to 525K from 510K. Permits, an indication of future starts, were 494K vs. 530K consensus. Starts are down 50.2% from last year's 991K.

What did they expect? All these foreclosures and 21% of the people are at negative equity.

I missed RIG blowoff bottom.
