1) Society always comes first over individual rights. Tah has to be that way!!!

Actually, Mussolini would have been quite in agreement with that statement.

So should the individual serve the society, or should society serve the individual??

It's like economics.. should people be subservient to an economic model, whether socialist or capitalist? Or should those economic models be subservient to the needs of the citizenry?

In my view, individual rights are paramount. But individual rights end where someone else's individual rights begin. That's where the messy part arises.

Statisticians know that if the world continues to hold large quantities of nuclear weapons someone will use them.

Do you own a weapon, even a knife?? Have you ever used them against another human being?

Would you use them if another human being attempted to use similar weapons against you??

If you build something, of course you're going to use them for the purposes/strategies they were designed for. But since they were designed for deterrence and retaliatory strategies, their use will be dependent upon the strategy of your enemy.

The only time we've actually used nuclear weapons against an enemy was to psychologically shock the enemy into surrender in order to avoid even far greater casualties (predicted 1 million American casualties) from invading Japan.
