Have to agree. I can see that doing nothing when a person like KSM - who has information about impending massive attacks - laughs in your face as you helplessly follow idealistic slash bureaucratic restrictions could be, in fact.... terribly immoral.

The potential for such methods to become routine is deeply problematic. But those are two different issues.
