Its remarkable that you would make such a statement. In fact, Clinton left the country in much better fiscal shape than when he got it from the last Republican to hold the presidency. Nonetheless, wars are costly ventures on several levels.....that's why they are done only as a last resort. And Bush started two of them.....while we were in recession. To make matters worse, he granted tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans.......a move only a fiscal incompetent would make. BTW that is why the Republican party has a 21% positive rating.....in case you were wondering.
