This country needs a good dose of liberalism.....things have gone too far to the right. That's often said, but with nothing really to back it up. "The right" could mean a number of different things, but examine he actual changes over time. In terms of religious/cultural conservatism, well the countries moved to the left not the right. In terms of the size of government, well its tended to get bigger and bigger. In terms of government spending priorities a larger and larger percentage of government spending goes to social programs. Where has the government or the country moved to the right to a great extent in a durable way? Answer it hasn't.
