OMG - Folks....I'm absolutely fine! I had no idea all these questions were going on. I'm totally sorry.

here's the rub

1) Yeah - I lost a friend - 3rd one this year - but that's life (I guess the last part but he's home now) and I'm fine. Work has been a real bite.

2) Business is horrible (but I'm working my @$$ off) and I went from up 22% on the year to down 6+% on 25% exposure to a fund that was short the banks. I still think the earnings reported are complete bs but the saying "you can't fight the fed" has just taken on new meaning - they have 700 bil on the table and that's only the amount we know about! The stress test was a freakin joke. I've read things that suggest 10+ major banks would be insolvent had that test been done in normal times. The fact is FDIC is rumored to only be able to cover 2 of the majors if a collapse took place. I was almost 100% sure my analysis was correct but I failed to factor in the potential of possible manipulation. These banks (and other businesses that have been helped out) are going to issue more stock to raise capital - they need their stock prices higher and my guess is that their stock is being driven up for that very reason. I'm not a guy who believes in conspiracies all the time but I don't for 1 minute believe what we're seeing here. More shares = dilution and that should equal lower stock prices - period.

3) I'm being destroyed by a person who had credit cards in my name - gee I wonder who. I just paid off another 10k 3 weeks ago .... I think that's 38k + plus taxes in 2 years - and no there's no recourse because that would require money. A lawyer buddy said suck it up and pay it because it was destroying me as I tried to fight it. I would guess my total outlay (since late 2006) has been over 110k now (if I include lawyer fees, taxes, bills and CC's that weren't mine) plus a jaw issue that insurance didn't cover for slightly over 20k. That's at a time where business is down almost 80% for a variety of reasons (none mine). Even my cell phone was hijacked to the tune of $900.00 so for those wondering why I let it get shut off - now you know. When you try to recover money and you're using a lawyer - they gag you which left me having to make excuses. I can promise you this - we aren't done yet! This time I'm pissed - my financial security has been jeopardized and this time it isn't going to fly. I have some reserves left (not the amount I'm used to having) but I have to decide if I should keep dumping money into a biz thats in a swan dive. You don't make it for 20 years on your own by being an idiot.

4) Junior is with me 4-5 days per week. While he sleeps I work.

More later - just realize things aren't always as they seem. Sometimes life forces your hand and you STILL don't know all the details so save the judgment until all the facts are on the table
