No - I didn't take the pictures. The folks in the Tahoe area are pretty organized when it comes to dealing with the wild life - everyone pitches in. JXM's dad is one of the founders of the Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care who rescue hurt wild animals. ltwc.org Last year they rescued a bear cub, named Lil Smokey, from the fire who had burned paws. They nursed him back to health and recently released him back to the wild.
