I'll bt our ancestors were pretty happy when the giant cave bear and sabor tooth tiger became extinct. And this guy: dearkitty.blogsome.com The story I heard was that the 30 foot monitor was finally defeated by the aborigines by waiting until right before sunrise when they were in a state of torpor and then killed them.
