Hawk,
the truth is that with statistical analysis we can check to see if sunspots are more highly correlated with temperature change than CO2. They've done that analysis and scientists say that the correlation with CO2 is greater. It doesn't mean that sunspots don't influence temperature, because it clearly does. However, it does mean that sunspots are not the prime root cause. That's the state of the latest analysis. I believe in science and statistical analysis and that's what it is telling us.
