This is a cautious PR. The independent testing must be taking longer than they hoped (mid-second quarter), so they put this out to ease any concerns. Three things stand out: 1. No mention of a prototype (don't know if this is good or bad) 2. Now working with 3 universities (we know about Arizona, who are the other 2 and what are they doing?) 3. "... the Company is simultaneously working to develop strategic partnerships and material development contracts to meet unique customer application needs." (this is important in many ways, particularly since they are running out of cash) It sounds like there is a lot going on behind the scenes. Hopefully, when the independent results are out, the doors will open on a range of activities that will take them to commercialization in the modulator market and provide funding for further development.
