Another fine example of an absolutely worthless post from you. Do you ever post new information?

As far as my support for nationalizing health care, you simply made that up. I don't support a government sponsored health care.

However, I don't blindly say we have the best health care in the world like the GOP do either. The false patriotism of the GOP is really sickening. Somehow they have this idea that if you criticize your country, then you are not being patriotic. The reality is that patriotism is being willing to call out what is not working in this country and do something constructive to fix it. Health care is one of those areas that is seriously broken in this country. Not enough people have access to the best health care in this country and it is too expensive for those who do have access. That's a travesty and we need to do something about it. In addition, the medicare/medicaid entitlements already promised by our government will bankrupt this country just as surely as social security entitlements will, UNLESS we do something about it.

That's really what this debate is about. How do we fix health care and social security so that it doesn't bankrupt our country and impoverish our children and their children? Doing nothing is not an option anymore. But I don't agree with Dems that the best solution is to replace private health insurance with government insurance. That is a very bad idea, because they simply can't manage it as efficiently as private industry can. I'd rather see increased legislation and regulation to apply governing rules to the industry, but let the private players compete under those new rules.
