Accel, of course that would be the smart thing to do!!! I have to admit that nobody accuses me of doing the smartest thing when it comes to my stock holdings!! I do have a slight motivation in holding KOG long term. When the market took a dump a few years back, I was persuaded to sell my positions since I was taking a real beating. Of course if I would have just held on for a year or so I would have made all of my money back. So I have a pretty large long term loss balance running on my tax returns. So I am slightly motivated in holding on for around 6 months more or so. I was just checking my 3 stock values just before posting today. I am up about $100K in the past 3 months and his includes a losing position with my RIMM holding. I fully expect this one to keep going up over time and to make a lot of money in this one too. It looks like today will be a real down day for my stocks overall with the futures being down though. When I purchased KOG, I did it with the belief I was going to lose the entire amount - another words, a pure gamble. It is only now after the share price has gone up that I am really wondering about the true value of this company. On the Yahoo thread, someone posted that a tracking company just raised the estimated value of this stock to go from $1 to $2. I am not sure about what company this was. No matter what anyone says, I wont believe it until we see some real numbers coming from KOG. The real truth is they do NOT have that many working wells at this time. They are bringing wells on at a faster pace, and the wells are producing decent oil, but it is like watching turtles chasing cars on a freeway! I keep thinking they would be a great take over candidate, but there is not too much talk on this line of thought. If you look at the intra-day trading pattern, it is all over the place.... way up.... way down!!!! If I was not so busy I would be day trading KOG all the time!
