Alan, The initial CO2 reduction can come from fuel substitution from coal to natural gas. That will cause natural gas prices to rise - think your home heating bill. Once this is done the real pain begins - think shutdowns. Cap and Trade is the MOST STUPID thing I can imagine for a country trying to improve the lot of the least amongst us. It is IDIOCY born of STUPIDITY. STUPIDITY born of lack of technical knowledge of how things work. Cap and Trade is no longer an amusing joke of fools like ALGORE. It is now a serious threat to the national well being. Bob
