That's what really annoys me. If they were so concerned about wanting to keep their rifles for hunting, why do they fight like hell when we try to ban assault weapons like the AK-47? If one takes the second amendment literally, folks in order to have a militia that could compete with a supposed anti-demo military would have to be outfitted with machine guns etc. To hunt and enjoy shooting as a support all one needs is a rifle or even a handgun but why shouldnt this right be regulated. Folks in the gun lobby are extremists---for the militia they want all weapons and for the hunter/sportsman no regulation as in who cares who has a gun. 2nd amendment needs to be rewritten. It isnt 1790 anymore and if you can have automobile regulation, why not guns?
