I have never heard anyone who labeled themselves an atheist claim that those others were God or even real. Because if they did, they wouldn't be an atheist, now would they? I know you have a problem with standard definitions of words, but...


What's interesting to me is the note of persecution in Ten's comment. Here's Chritianity, if not the largest of religions, certainly the most powerful and richest in the world. And yet, he believes an 'atheist' would prefer a Hindu or Buddhist God at the expense of the Christian God. Assuming that atheists believe in gods which they don't, why would any one assume they would pick one over the other.

Does Ten think Christians are back in the days of Rome when lions ruled the arena?
