If Levin's "dismantle the government" manifesto is so popular, why hasn't a presidential nominee been chosen in recent times with those positions? Why did the last several Republican presidents each expand the bureaucracy in one department or others? Why did Ron Paul only get single digit vote % totals in the primaries last year?

All these ideas and theories that are so right and so perfect and so loved by so many, and none of them seem to make it over the electoral threshold. Not even close.

Any ideas?
