I never said that atheists make that claim. I'm saying that atheists like Bill Maher often focus their energy on Christianity.

Some atheists (or more technically, agnostics) do not explicitly reject the existence of a higher being. That would fit more in line with Buddhist theology. Even Einstein, who isn't a religious guy at all, said, "God does not play dice."
