CA's problems are not the unions. Its mostly Prop 13 Prop 13 controls revenue. CA problem is not revenue, it is the spending. Spending is where the unions are. The state has been on revenue starvation diet for 30 years. There are many people in CA still paying 1980 property taxes. Do you know what that does to your revenue stream? But keep talking about unions.....it makes for an interesting sound byte.
