And such people will, obviously, try to shape policy to suit their own needs. One big red flag in that article is in the paragraph about Spain. "Research shows," the author tells us, that each job created in the wind energy industry cost x amount of euros, and destroyed 2.2 jobs in other areas. It would be very interesting to see the data that might support such a contention, but alas, the author doesn't even cite the research. Always a bad sign. I don't have time to go through the rest of the article to point out the other obvious blunders, misstatements, and distortions. - Allen
