I've known far too many of the people who serve in our military who do not fit the description you provide to let your characterization go by. Under dire circumstances shlt happens, even good people can can find themselves party to things that they would never choose nor advocate.

That said, there are some truly evil MFs like Cheney, Yoo, Gonzales, etc who need to be held responsible for dragging us all into serving the devil's work.
