Anybody tried to buy shoes recently??? I got a pair in Joseph Banks. They have a very limited supply. They were D width vice my usual C. Fit OK and I can take them back. I used to love Dexter, but they have gone Chinese. They introduced a "1957 Classic" line which I like. Except you seem to have to buy them through PayLess or whatever. All they have is Small, Medium and Large. Same thing with hiking/running shoes in REI - Chinese stuff with very limited width selection. Are all Chinese feet that uniform??? I guess that is an inheritance from Chairman Mao. When you do go online, all the pictures are tiny and you can't see what you are buying.

Maybe I should go to the last mall before it closes and buy shoes for the rest of my life.

He who is not barefoot will have a competitive advantage after the collapse.
