I love how CA is now considering asking for a "bailout," thinking that if MI is too big to fail, surely CA is as well.

Ah-nuld is aiming to layoff 5,000 state employees, which is like 2.1% of the entire state-employed workforce. Even then he'll have to jump through hoops, and the actual number laid off will probably be less.

The unions have CA by the balls just like they had GM and Chrysler, and they'd rather see their employers go bankrupt before they'll ever loosen their grip.
