Yes but the point is this drug was illegal when it was abused, so it isn't a good way to demonstrate the downside of making any or all drugs illegal.

As for the issue of whether all drugs should be legal - Well in principle I think they should be, but I wouldn't want to jump straight to that, better to take smaller steps and see how things go, before taking the next one.
