That's an excessively idyllic description of ancient tribal life. It wasn't for the benefit of individual poetic self-actualisation, it was because being in the tribe was a lot better than being beyond the pale which is where people were put if they were unacceptable, even though the alpha male did what he wanted and had what he wanted.

Look at chimp tribes to see what early collectivism was about and why humans formed bigger and bigger gangs, cities, fortifications and standing armies.

In fact, the nasty little authoritarians who get a city uniform and sinecure are doing what their ilk have always done since time immemorial.

The Greenhouse Gangsters and their political power base are just doing more of the same. Al Gore wanted badly to be the boss. He is trying to gather political power in another way. Those given to join such gangs are flocking to the cause because they know it pays to be in with the top dogs and they can score some loot if they participate in the power-broking via tradable carbon credits and all that stuff.

None of them can make a case for their theory of CO2 destroying the planet. They are only able to make charges of heresy, Denialism, crimes against humanity and other silly buzz words designed to shut down the opposition and gain control.

Here in SI, we have Koan, Wharfie, Neo and a few others, none of whom can make an even slightly rational case for the CO2 claims.
