Well alan, that was quite a post. I see that like me you sometimes have too much time on your hands and end up sitting around putting thoughts to words. It's a great exercise and I especially like this medium. It's easy and clean and simplifies the task of identifying and recognizing mistakes in grammar and syntax. I like the spell check feature, Dictionary.com, Wiki and this site in particular for information and question solving. If I want to listen to music in the background I only need to search a few bookmarks or log on to iTunes and there you are. Regarding "the speeches!" I tried finding Cheney's on my TV. Even looked in "On Demand." When that didn't work I tried CPAN.com and that didn't work either. Oh.......I found it there all right but either my service is lousy or my lap top is buggy. Either way, I did not have the privilege of hearing either speech so I'll have to parcel out the substance via my fellow Internet travelers. I'm going to call Comcast on Tuesday to see if I'm getting the full benefits of their service.......lord knows it cost enough.....it should be perfect. If I am, the problem lies with my machine. I have a desk top in the other room. I'll try the speeches there and hope I don't have the same problem. No offense to you but I don't like poems that refer to dish washing. Makes my hands tingle and burn. ;)
