My speculation is as follows;

There will be major issuance of new US debt next week and for this there are interested parties to SELL the USD.

They will buy the treasury debt yielding around 3% (TNX at 3.448% )and being short the USD will net them the yield as the currency position is hedged - so they will have a lock on the interest of the US debentures
