New Yorker Cover several weeks ago Geek Vs Boomer. Had late 20s early 30s geek sitting at his computer in an office tower, at about the 45th floor, designing the next generation of car. he is looking out the window at a sloppily dressed, beaded boomer, in his home made jet pack, flying by. The boomer has what looks like a fish bowl on his head for a helmet and the pack has been built with odds and ends and looks like it is together by scotch tape.

Modern tech is over rated and gives the generation a feeling of superiority. You can operate drones over Afghanistan , but you still have to go in and fight. Also using simplistic stories to prove economic theory is really a problem of too many people thinking they have knowledge they don't really have.

"Simpletons will always lose. Just given them time and a rope and they hang themselves." Simpletons through out history have always won. They don't hang themselves, they hang others.
