Thank you. I returned to writing poetry after my brother died with MS---to help me through the grief. Eventually, I moved on to writing about other themes----one being love. As a musician I found that most music is about love desired, lost, gained, ended, found etc. With this Memorial Day we think of the love that those who fought and died for our country and the world-----and remember and honor them. We had many people in the family that served in the military. One served at the same time that Elvis Presley served in Germany-----and coincidentally died the same week within a couple of days of each other. A little about Elvis's career----with several links to the Army Museum history.army.mil
