It was an open question on my part. I had lived in the Bay area more than 30 years ago so I had a financial frame of reference for then. Wanted to see your frame of reference for today. Article in the NY Times today about how surrounding school districts where negotiating with Teacher's Unions for "Givebacks" in lieu of cutting positions. In one district Teachers pledged a $1000 apiece to help save jobs. Any talk of this in California?
