A Road Warrior tool/toy: engadget.com Got one of these recently. So far it works as advertised. My portable has been "associated" with the Mifi. So all I do is press the power button on the Mifi and on my portable. When the portable is up it connects to Mifi. The Mifi battery life is about 4 hours of use. A bit short but that is fair given how small the device is and that it will recharge in about 30 minutes. I have not yet tried multiple users (up to 5) but I suspect that will work fine. IF SO, it makes the device all the more significant when traveling with others. ij * With an extension of my VZ contract it cost $53 after a rebate. 5Gb service costs about $60 per month.
