Demand for debt is bad news for Treasuries

Sales of US corporate debt is running at its highest monthly level in a year as aversion to risky assets has abated, prompting investors to switch from low yielding government bonds.

Mark Kiesel, portfolio manager at Pimco, said: “Investors are migrating across the risk spectrum towards corporate bonds and no one wants to be in Treasury debt.”
