Eli Lilly will be held accountable for Racist Discrimination in employment just as they were held Criminally liable for Lying, Fraud, and Deception of its consumers and shareholders. Heaven forbid they should have another breech of compliance! ----------------------------------------------------- --------------------------- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Thursday, January 15, 2009 WWW.USDOJ.GOVCIV
Eli Lilly and Company Agrees to Pay $515 Million CRIMINAL Fine Is Largest Individual Corporate Criminal Fine in History; Civil Settlement up to $800 Million and still growing
National BOYCOTT against Eli Lilly Racism could be coming soon, millions already signed up for the campaign to start receiving text messages, emails, and phone calls, attend rallies, and visits.
All national publications will consistently carry the story as about a thousand people lines up shoulder to shoulder led by nationally renowned Civil Rights Leaders and Politicians in the home city of the Lilly Corporate Center. There will be daily blogs and a website dedicated to this endeavor. It will be posted on every Magazine and College Campus that will allow. Follow it on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, as well as all other popular sites!
This will undoubtedly be covered by national news media, radio, and TV talk shows for months following the BOYCOTT Launch. Producers and Film Writers are already asking for exclusives on the story. And of course the “Best Seller” book is already in the works!
We will fight until Lilly does what is right by African Americans employed by the company!
We will call for the TERMINATION of employment for all those involved in the Hangman’s Noose Displays at Eli Lilly. We will ask for the current VP Diversity and other leaders, who knowingly allow this racist discrimination to continue, to step down and allow for real leadership in those roles.
Eli Lilly shareholders are going to “feel our pain” (a famous quote by Ben Morelli one of the lead counsel for the Plaintiffs) should there be a national Boycott.
Consumer Boycotts Work—
STANFORD GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS—Around 40 percent of Fortune 50 companies may be subject to consumer boycotts at any given time, but until recently most economists have pooh-poohed the idea that boycotting has any real negative effect on business. Larry Chavis and Phillip Leslie are the first economists to use actual product-level sales data to demonstrate that boycotts do in fact work and that they're something businesses should be concerned about.

The CEO of Eli Lilly wasting everyone’s time sending out companywide voicemails on integrity. Thanks for the joke of the day, John. By the way, keep that look over your shoulder because we know all the company secrets that inquiring minds, like FDA and the CIA compliance teams want to know. We agree, we have a duty to report compliance breeches, that’s real integrity. “We will fight until Eli Lilly does right by African Americans in employment” |
