watch the employment cost index, what if it is up? can greespan raise rates then? I dont know but the numbers come out at 0730 eastern. as far as the end of this thing, if you have a real broker, ask him or her to call you when the last person has seemed to panic, when he or she figures they are making their last margin call. then start to nibble. I would guess that we have more on the downside, the dow is still up about 700 for the year, i would guess that we will go at least that low. the circuit breakers make the whole process worse and longer drawn. terrible move
