Nadine, you are obviously one of the Palin-can-do-no wrong types.

She flubbed the interviews, she proved she doesn't read, she was incredibly ill-informed, etc., and the voters saw right through it despite the force-feeding she got after her initial screw ups. She was, in short, an accident put in motion by McCain's almost mystic belief that he could look into her eyes and get to her nature without the need of a thorough vetting.

She will continue to entertain, but she's finished on a national level because the numbers don't lie. She cannot be a Presidential contender and no rational politician would dream of putting her on a ticket.

The subject is closed to me, except when I see a suggestion that Newt would put her on his ticket. Perhaps he might, he has enough brains to power both of them and his problems are now too far in the past. Hers are recent and still developing.
