Frank, yes I have been reading all the posts. I fall a bit behind here and there on weekends but I always catch up. I had been surprised also the way that plant deal was handled. The techs were just turning around when they got hit with that confusing announcement. Most investors thought that the flash memory chips were hurting. I could not believe it was said later that they are doing great. And now this DEC deal. Oh well, I guess Intel could have done worse today.

Who knows what we are in for tomorrow. Buying did not come in so far in the Asian markets. Hong Kong is down again 1200 points or 8% last time I checked. A lot of the polled analysts think there will be more selling in the morning and then buying will come in.
Fund managers are talking out of both sides of their mouths. But I firmly believe it is they who are the culprit this time. They are using this Asian currency thing as an excuse to lock in profits and therefore killing the golden goose. If our stockmarket had not gone down today, Hong Kong would not be down. This is strictly a feeding frenzy now and has nothing to do with valuation in our markets. If anything else, it should be up here. Nobody can blame it on the little guy. Most of us have been staying put.

Sonny
