That's the truth, although, I have to say that Obama has tried to reach out to the GOP, but the GOP has been radicalized. It's a party of old, white, male, Evangelical Southerners. They don't really see eye to eye with the majority of Americans on any issue. Tough to get them to compromise on anything.
