Obama just check mated the Republican's with Sotomayar. He got an activist judge whom we liberals love, who is also both a woman and first Hispanic. Therefore if the right wing goes against her, they lose the Hispanic vote forever, and much of the women's vote. Obama set this fight up and shows his political brillance. Exactly what we needed to fight the rabid right wing.
