BM, in your favorite book, Market Wizards, Jimmy Rogers talks about some market (Egypt, maybe?) that didn't let the shorts close their positions. ie no matter your gain, you couldn't buy back in... supposedly. imo you could just buy the index and de facto close it out. The big question is how much the other Asian markets have cross-holdings, debt, and the like; ie could we see another Japanese-like burn out throughout asia? Personally, think I'm going to short and hold for a while(not asia, dammit, and actually not short anything new, but hold on for a bit, maybe January... should probably look to sell my place just in case things get totally nutso). |
