I did some research on welfare fraud yesterday and heard many similar moral equivalence arguments.

There is only so much money around, I see now that Welfare Queen for many has a special meaning. The youtube news story I posted was a good example of a Welfare Queen magnitude. I suspect these are rare.

My point is that if someone is using food stamps to buy coke and fries then they are being given to much money. What I have seen is people who smoke and drink alcohol, people who have kids with game boys, I pods etc using government assistance.

People in the USA are feeling entitled to a standard of living at the taxpayers expense that cannot be sustained.

The present mortgage fiasco is another case in point.
