Bull shit. It's art not science. Why do you think there are "juries of your peers"? ANSWER: to check stupid laws that don't consider social 'empathy'. Independent judges are expected to do the same.

You obviously have no idea what the Supreme Court does or what its role is. There is no jury here. We're talking about people who are [supposed to be] committed to applying the law in cold, stark terms.

Empathy has no place at the Supreme Court. The worst decisions the Court has ever made have resulted from failures to apply the law in favor of "empathy" for one special interest group or another.
