Republicans left the battle a number of years ago.

It's time to rejoin, starting with a reasoned and incisive challenge of Justice Sotomayer.

I'm not advocating "Borking" her.

She will be approved no matter what. But the Repubs have a chance to educate the public on the type of Justice favored by Obama, which in this case is a rather arrogant ideologue with not all that much intellectual prowess.

Because of the latter, the chances are she won't have much success in convincing more conservative members of the court to see it her way, so, from that perspective, it's just as well that Obama appointed something of a lightweight.
