Deflationists R.I.P. What a weird game. To be wrong for years about Deflation, then to dance a victory dance for 6 months, only to still be proved wrong. During the price lows of goods and commodities in mid-Winter, a friend in California emailed me the week a rather well known deflationist blogger got over-uppity in public--and he said to me: "That's it--that has to mark the extreme of this very short, disinflationary period." And he was right.

Look at the USTreasury bonds tank. Right here. Right now. Oh my. Remember, these are the instruments that "will look pretty damn good in deflation." These are the instruments that "will be bought hard with the savings of Americans during the bust." Ha Ha.
