The only REAL fiscal conservative we've had in the last 27 years was Clinton. I get so tired of hearing that. READ THE DAMN CONSTITUTION!! Once again, the President can only propose a budget. It's CONGRESS that actually taxes and spends. Clinton had, for the last 6 of his 8 years, a GOP controlled Congress that was actually semi fiscally responsible at the time. Clinton was also lucky in riding the tech boom, which fattened federal tax coffers. Jo Mama could have been President in the 90's and would have enjoyed the "fiscal conservative" label. Reagan had a Dem Congress that showed little fiscal restraint..
