BURLINGAME, Calif. -- Struggling PC vendor Dell has snatched IBM's top acquisitions deal maker. Dell confirmed Wednesday that it has offered a job to David L. Johnson, vice president of corporate development at IBM.
IBM ( IBM - news - people ) filed suit against Johnson in the U.S. District Court for Southern New York on May 21 asserting that Johnson violated a non-compete agreement. Johnson, a 27-year IBM veteran, has spent nearly a decade overseeing deals at the acquisitive Armonk, N.Y., industry giant. |
