Thanks max. It was a big deal for me.

She has been sleeping all day. I think her bout with the infection wore her out. She only weighs about 5/6 lbs. Little tiny thing-lol.

But she has a very sophisticated understanding of humans and makes eye contact.

Many people with dogs know exactly what that means. I have always been frustrated by many humans complete insensitivity to the emotional needs of animals and the need to protect them from unecessary pain.

Sure took zoos a long time to figure it out. Pacing! Putting intelligent primates in iron jails. Good god.

And then the old anthropomorphizing nonsense. Dogs and cats get jealous for instance. All the way through college I was taught that sort of behavior was all in my mind they were just stupid animals. Sort of like carrots-lol.
