The correct way to do merger is to convert all debt into stock, then merge by pooling of interest of all asset value.

Shotgun marriage will be under the government supervision. All merging companies will agree on the future management team.

Ford seemed the strongest in sales, because they sold to businesses and governments. All other car companies selling to public, who has no buying power now, will be more of a liability including Toyota and Honda.

The way to go is a five company merger. Fiat is too small to even be considered?
